This week I'm on the road again meeting with suppliers overseas, going over new designs, and finishing up approval on a couple of new Jack products that will be hitting the site in a couple of months. Its been a great trip.

The owner of the this particular mill I met with yesterday is one of the largest suppliers to the European market as well as a few of the high-end department stores, and brand name lines in the U.S.
He came right out and said to me, "You are too picky".

That's the nicest thing a supplier has said to me in a long time.  He went on to say our ties are by far the nicest ties he is making at this time and that we don't necessarily need the nicest material in all of our ties.

He's probably right, but it doesn't cost that much more to do it right.  Really, It doesn't.....I can't believe other brands skimp.  I'm amazed at what high-end brand names will cut out to save a few cents here or a dollar there, and then turn around and charge three times the cost of one of our ties.  These are brands that I buy regularly...We'll at least until about a month ago.
